World Hepatitis Day in Barcelona

The Associació Catalana de Malats d’Hepatitis (ASSCAT) marked World Hepatitis Day by hosting information talks about viral hepatitis and by placing information booths throughout various universities and hospitals in Catalonia (Spain).

10,000 information brochures were published specifically for World Hepatitis Day and were delivered in nine hospitals and five universities.

ASSCAT also conducted three briefings on the three major universities in Catalonia in collaboration with hepatologists of Catalonia. Also, three educational posters were produced for each table of information, which were also displayed on the website of the ASSCAT and Facebook.

ASSCAT also participated in several radio programs, in which they spoke about World Day for Hepatitis prevention, disease characteristics, as well as problems for people who are affected by hepatitis.
