Report from World Hepatitis Day 2010 in Spain

AsoEEHC at the Health Ministry

The Spanish AsoEEHC association for hepatitis C had a meeting at the Spanish Ministry of Health to discuss World Hepatitis Day, the activities of World Hepatitis Alliance and ELPA, and the “twelve asks” to the government.

Hepatologists in several large hospitals organised information conferences on World Hepatitis Day. AsoEEHC also offered information booths in the principal cities of Spain. Moreover, information leaflets were distributed at the Technical University of Valencia. In Valencia, informative TV spots were shown on television in Buses for 18 days.

AsoEEHC are very satisfied with the achievements of World Hepatitis Day 2010, which also received a lot of attention by the Spanish press.
