HEPATOS: The premiere of Branko Ruzic's play “Blood Borne Enemy” in Sarajevo

The play 'Sto mi moze virus?' (int. title Blood Borne Enemy) premiered 14/01 2010 in the Chamber Theatre in Sarajevo, aiming at drawing attention of Sarajevo and Bosnia-Herzegovina  public's attention to the problem of hepatitis.

The play is one of our ways we're trying to get closer to young people engaging in risk behaviors that can lead to hepatitis infection (piercing, tattoos, experimenting with drugs…), and this particular premiere is another attempt to show that hepatitis knows no borders.

Before the show there was a press conference with Tatjana Reic (our president), Mirsad Zizko president of Association of Ill with Hepatitis  C from Sarajevo, Zdenko Simonovic president of Association of ill with chronic hepatitis C  B18 Nedim Mulazinovic MD from Roche BH and actor from the Malo Splitsko Kazaliste Mijo Jurisic.

The audience received educational brochures and promotional T-shirts ‘Am I number 12?’ as a part of the world campaign.
