Branko Ruzic's play „Sto mi moze virus?“ (alternative title: Blood Borne Enemy), directed by Marica Grgurinovic  opened on  Saturday, the 17th of October 2010, in the GKL (evening scene of the Split’s Doll Theatre). The play is produced by Split’s Small Theatre and CATIH Hepatos (Croatian Association of Treated and Ill with Hepatitis). Cast: Vanda Boban – the main role; Mijo Jurisic and Zdeslav Cotic – multiple roles.

The text is focused on a girl (Vanda Boban) infected by hepatitis, while the other two actors, powerfully performing a variety of characters, create a dazzling, often cruel world around her. Despite the evident dark tone and seriousness, the author managed to keep humour as a firm stand, thus crashing fear and murkiness, mocking primitive stigma that surrounds hepatitis, but also managed to sneak a bountiful of valuable information in drama regarding the disease itself.

The audience was consisted of representatives of High Schools in Split Dalmatia County, medical staff, local government, media, partners and associates in preparing and organization of the play.

The play is offered to elementary and high schools in Split-Dalmatia County and wider aiming to inform the target audience about hepatitis.

The pivotal element of the play is that hepatitis, like other diseases, is not happening to someone else, or somebody who “deserved it“ but can happen to anybody.
